iPod Touch : iPod with iPhone Nuance
I know it’s kind of late, but everthing about iPod is always interesting to discuss. On September 6 2007, Apple introduces new version of iPod, iPod Touch. With this iPod Touch Launching, Apple gives new label for latest iPod version, called iPod Classic. And like rumors heard before launching, iPod dimension is very identical to iPhone.
The new version of iPod is the first Apple digital media player which include Wi-Fi, Mac OS X, and iPhone user interface. Not like previous iPod, iPod Touch has Apple Safari browser, and user can use it to suft hte net using wireless network. And it also has YouTube video viewer, just like iPhone.
And other iPhone features like is, iPod Touch has sensor to detect horizontal/landscape position, which can be used to watch video.
Apple claims that iPod Touch has good battery capacity, which can play music for 22 hours nonstop, and play video 5 hours nonstop.
To get this iPod with 16 GB Capacity, prepare to dig your wallet for US$399 and US$299 for 8 GB Capacity. This two models has 3.5 inch (320 x 480, 163 dpi) wide-screen panel. With 8 mm thickness, iPod Touch is less thick than iPhone. and with 11 x 6.2 cm dimension, again this new iPod version is slimmer than iPhone.
